WebPlanex: GST Invoice India – Tally Integration Configuration Guide

The WebPlanex: GST Invoice India app can be integrated with Tally to simplify your accounting workflow. This integration allows you to import our app orders into Tally, synchronize multiple orders, update existing vouchers, and manage your order import history.

Step 1: Connect Tally Integration

  1. Open the WebPlanex: GST Invoice India app.
  2. Navigate to Orders > Tally.
  3. Click Connect Tally.

Once connected, the app will generate the following:

  • WebPlanex GST Invoice API Key
  • WebPlanexGSTInvoice.tcp configuration file

Download the TCP file and copy the API Key, as both will be required for the Tally setup.

Step 2: Load the TCP File in Tally

  • Press F1 and select Load TDLs & Add-Ons.

  • Press F4 – Manage Local TDLs.

  • Select the downloaded WebPlanexGSTInvoice.tcp file and Yes.

  • Save and close the screen.

After successfully loading the TCP file, you will see WebPlanex: GST Invoice in the Gateway of Tally menu.

Step 3: Configure the API Token in Tally

  1. Copy the API key from Orders → Tally in the WebPlanex:GST Invoice app.
  2. In tally, Press F3 -> Alter Company -> Select company (If you have multiple companies)
  3. Locate the WebPlanex GST API Token field.
  4. Paste the API token copied from the app.
  5. Save the company settings.

Once saved, the integration is set.

Step 4: Import WebPlanex: GST Invoice Orders into Tally

After completing the configuration, open:

Gateway of Tally → WebPlanex:GST Invoice

You will see options to import orders.

Single Order Import

Use Single Order Import to import an individual WebPlanex: GST Invoice order.

You can import an order using:

  • Shopify Order Name
  • WebPlanex: GST Invoice India App - Invoice Number

Import Orders by Date Range

Use Sync Orders by Date Range to import multiple orders at once.

  1. Select the desired date range.
  2. Start the synchronization.

Note: You can sync a maximum of 1,000 orders per import when using the date range option.

Update Existing Orders

If changes are made to an order after it has already been imported into Tally, simply re-import the order.

The existing voucher will be automatically updated in Tally and marked as Altered.

Step 5: View Sync History

You can review your import and synchronization history directly from the Shopify app.

Navigate to:
Orders → Tally
Here you can view previously imported orders and their status.

Disconnect the Integration

To disconnect the Tally integration:

  1. Open Orders → Tally in the WebPlanex: GST Invoice app.
  2. Click Disconnect.

You can reconnect the integration at any time by following the setup steps again.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues while importing orders, verify the following:

  • The API token is configured correctly.
  • Your internet connection is active.
  • The selected date range contains eligible orders.
  • The integration is connected and active.
  • The TCP file is properly loaded in Tally..

Important Note

A stable internet connection is required while configuring the API integration and whenever you import or synchronize orders between the WebPlanex: GST Invoice India app and Tally.
