How to Setup expiry reminder email notification?

This steps explains how to configure email notifications reminding customers about expiring store cash in their Webplanex Wallet accounts.

 

Prerequisites:

Configured SMTP Settings: Webplanex Wallet relies on SMTP to send emails. You'll need to configure your SMTP settings beforehand to enable email functionality. Refer to this guide for setup

 

Access Settings: Locate the "Settings" menu within the application interface. Within the settings menu, find the "Email Settings" section and click on it.

 

 

Locate Store Cash Reminder Template: You'll see a list of various email templates used for different notifications within Webplanex Wallet.Look for a template named "Store Cash Expiration Reminder".

 

Enable Reminder Switch: The Store Cash Expiration Reminder template have an "Enable Notification" switch. Click on the switch to turn on reminder emails for customers with expiring store cash.

Set Reminder Schedule (Optional):

  • The template also have an "Edit" button or configuration options.
  • Clicking this allow you to set the schedule for sending reminder emails.
  • You'll likely see options like "No Reminder," "7 days," "15 days," and "30 days" before expiry.
  • Choose the desired number of days before expiry when customers should receive the reminder email.

 

 

Outcome:

  • By enabling the reminder switch and setting a schedule, Webplanex Wallet will automatically send emails to customers with expiring store cash according to your chosen timeframe.
  • This helps nudge customers to use their store cash before it expires, potentially increasing customer engagement and redemption rates.
