Use this guide to show your shipping carrier on the Shopify checkout page. When the WebPlanex app is installed, the carrier service is added to your store automatically. Your customers can then see live shipping rates while placing an order.
Step : 1 - Turn ON "Show on Checkout" in WebPlanex Invoices
Go to WebPlanex Invoices → click Shipping in the top menu. You will see the Shipping Carriers page. Click on the any carrier
A popup will open. Make sure the Show on Checkout toggle is ON.
Important:
- If this toggle is OFF, the carrier will not show in the WooCommerce Shipping tab, and its rates will not show on the checkout page.
Step : 2 - Install or Reinstall the App
When any user installs or reinstalls the WebPlanex Invoices app on a Shopify store, the shipping carrier service is added to that store automatically. You do not need to add it by hand.
Step : 3 - Open Shopify Settings
Open your Shopify store and click Settings at the bottom left of the menu.
Step : 4 - Open "Shipping and delivery"
In the Settings menu, click Shipping and delivery.
Step : 5 - Open the General Profile
Under Shipping profiles, click General profile.
Step : 6 - Check Your Shipping Zones
Scroll down to the Shipping zones section. Under your zones (Domestic and International), you will see Webplanex Shipping Rate Provider. This means the carrier service is added successfully.
Step : 7 - Add Weight and Dimensions to Your Products
The carrier needs the weight and size of your product to calculate the shipping rate. If you do not fill these, the rate will not come correctly on the checkout page.

Open a product
Go to Products in the left menu. Click on any product from the list to open it.
2. Add the product weight
On the product page, scroll down to the Shipping section. Enter the Product weight.
3. Open Variant metafields
Scroll further down to the Variant metafields section and click View all.
4. Add the dimensions
Enter the Height (cm), Width (cm) and Length (cm), then click Save.
Note: Do this for every product that you want to ship. If the weight and dimensions are empty, the carrier rate will not be correct.
Step : 8 - See the Carrier Rate on the Checkout Page
Now go to your store's Checkout page and enter the customer's shipping address. Under Shipping, your customer will see the live carrier rate along with your other shipping options. For example, FedEx Ground with its rate is shown in the list.
Note: The rate is calculated live from the carrier, based on the customer's address. If you do not see the carrier here, check that Show on Checkout is ON in WebPlanex Invoices (Step 1).
