π§Ύ How to Customize Invoice & Credit Note Templates Easily
Invoice makes it easy for anyone — even without technical skills — to preview, customize, style, download, and reset your invoice or credit note templates. Here's how each feature works step by step:
ποΈ 1. Customize Labels
In the Customize Label section, you can update the text shown on your invoice or credit note to match your business needs. You can change labels such as:
- Store Info: Name, address, phone number, email
- Invoice/Note Fields: Invoice No, Order Name, Date, Payment Method
- Billing/Shipping Labels: You can rename “Billing” or “Ship To” to match your terminology
- Product Fields: Change how "Products", "Qty", "Tax", etc., are displayed
- Other Sections: Terms & Conditions, Download Text, Authorized Signature, etc.
β Steps:- Click on Customize Label.
- Update the labels as needed.
- Click Submit to save.
- This lets you personalize your documents without touching any code!
- Click on Customize Label.
π Note:
If the template's style includes a company name, it will be displayed. Otherwise, does not show it.
π¨ 2. Change Template Style
The Custom Style section lets you change how your invoices and credit notes look visually.
You can change:
- Font Style (Arial, Verdana, etc.)
- Background & Font Colors for primary and secondary sections
- Table Title Background and Font Colors
β Steps:
- Click Custom Style.
- Pick your favorite font and color combination.
- Click Save to apply the changes instantly.

π₯ 3. Preview & Download Invoice / Credit Note
After customizing, you can preview how your invoice or credit note will look. You also have the option to download it as a PDF for emailing or printing.
β Steps:
- Click the Preview button to see a full-screen version.
- Click Download or Save as PDF from the top right.
You now have a professionally branded, ready-to-share invoice or credit note!
π 3. Reset to Default Template
If you've made too many changes or just want to go back to the default look, you can use the Reset button to undo all your customizations.
What gets reset?
- All custom labels
- All font and color styles
- Reverts to the original template layout
π Note: Resetting removes all your customizations — make sure to save a backup if needed!
