The Estimates / Quotations feature helps you create and manage quotations before converting them into final invoices. It is useful for sharing price details or cost breakdowns with customers and getting their approval before confirming the order.
Generate New Estimate
After clicking on the “Create New” button, you will be redirected to the estimate creation page where you can enter the required estimate details and modify the GST percentage (%).
You can select the Tax Method as:
- Exclusive of Tax
- Inclusive of Tax
- Out of Scope of Tax
You can also apply discounts in two ways:
- Transaction Level
- Item Level
Shipping charges can also be added to the estimate as either:
- Percentage-based
- Fixed Amount
Once the estimate is generated, you can easily manage it using the available action options. You can edit or delete the estimate, print or download it for records, and also email it directly to the customer.
Convert Estimate into Offline Order
You can convert any estimate into an Offline Invoice at any time using the available action icon.
