Set up your SMTP server in your store to send emails from your custom email address. Supports Gmail, Mailtrap, and other providers with secure options.

πŸ“€ SMTP Configuration – Send Emails from Your Own Address

The SMTP Configuration section in your store lets you connect your own email account (like Gmail or Mailtrap) so that system emails — like order notifications and invoices — are sent from your business email addres


πŸ”§ 1. Common Configuration

Field

Description

From Email

The email address shown as the sender. Example: yourcompany@gmail.com

From Name

The display name for outgoing emails. Example: Your Company Name

 

🌐 2. SMTP Configuration Details

Field

Description

SMTP Host

The server that sends your emails. Example: smtp.gmail.com or smtp.mailtrap.io

SMTP Username

Usually your email address or unique ID from your email provider.

SMTP Password

Your email app password or SMTP password (not your regular login password).

SMTP Port

Common ports: 465 (SSL), 587 (TLS), or 2525 (Mailtrap).

SMTP Security

Choose between None, TLS, or SSL depending on your email provider.

  1. Enter your email and SMTP details
     
  2. Save the configuration
     
  3. Test the connection using the "Test Configuration" button
     
  4. If successful, your system will now send emails using your SMTP account
