The Image Optimization feature helps improve your store's loading speed by optimizing images without reducing their visual quality. During the optimization process, images are converted to the WebP format, which provides smaller file sizes while maintaining high image quality.
Note: We securely store your original images while the app is active. If you uninstall the app, the original images will no longer be available for restoration.
Monthly Image Optimization Limit
Your monthly image optimization limit depends on your subscription plan. Once the limit is reached, you can optimize more images in the next billing cycle or by upgrading your plan.
How to Access Image Optimization
1.Open the Speedboostr App.
2.Go to the Image Optimization section.

- Collections
- Blogs
You can optimize images for Products, Collections, and Blogs individually or in bulk.
Product Image Optimization
You will see two sections:
- Unoptimized
- Optimized
Unoptimized Images
View Image
Click View Image to preview the image before optimization.
Manage Images
Manage Images
popup.The popup displays:- Original image size of each image
- Total number of images for the selected product
- Original Image Size
- Reduced Size
- Compressed Size
- Available Actions
If needed, you can click Restore Image to restore the image to its original format.
Optimized Images
Once an image has been optimized, it will appear in the Optimized section. From here, you can:
- View all optimized images.
- Check the optimization status.
- Restore images to their original format whenever required.
Auto Image Optimization
The Auto Image Optimization feature automatically optimizes added images without requiring any manual action. Images are optimized when the server determines the optimal time for processing.
- Go to the top-right corner and click the "Auto Optimization" button.
- Turn on the Auto Optimization toggle
Select Image Sources to Optimize
Choose which types of images should be optimized automatically.
Product Images
When you select Product Images, you can choose one of the following options:
All Product ImagesOptimizes images for all products in your store.
Only Active Product Images– Optimizes images only for products that are currently active.
Select the option that best fits your store's requirements.
Collection Images
Enable this option to automatically optimize images used in your product collections.
Blog Post Images
Enable this option to automatically optimize images used in your blog posts.
