What is Local Business?

The Local Business feature helps improve your store's local SEO by adding your business information to your website using Schema.org Local Business (JSON-LD) structured data.

Add business details to your Shopify store to improve visibility in local search results and on Google Maps, making it easier for nearby customers to find your business

This structured data helps search engines like Google better understand your business details, such as your business name, address, phone number, website, and opening hours.

Note:

This feature does not create or verify your Google Business Profile or automatically list your business on Google Maps. It simply adds structured data to your website.
